Hero Image
In modern hospital projects, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a clinically proven, non-invasive modality that expands treatment capability and improves patient outcomes — requiring careful facility planning and engineering integration.
What Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is defined by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) as the delivery of 100% oxygen at pressures greater than 1.4 ATA, typically between 1.5 to 3 ATA in clinical settings.
Under hyperbaric conditions, oxygen dissolves directly into plasma — not just haemoglobin — enabling oxygen delivery to hypoxic or compromised tissues. This enhances healing, reduces inflammation, and improves tissue recovery in ways not achievable under normal conditions.
In clinical environments, HBOT plays a critical role in advanced wound care, infection management, and specialised therapeutic treatments across a growing range of FDA-recognised and globally practised indications.
Boyle's & Henry's Law
Increased pressure forces more oxygen into solution in blood plasma, dramatically increasing oxygen delivery to all tissues.
Enhanced Tissue Oxygenation
Plasma-dissolved oxygen reaches areas where red blood cell transport is restricted — reviving hypoxic and injured tissues.
Improved Vascular Response
HBOT stimulates angiogenesis and reduces oedema — accelerating wound closure and systemic recovery.

Why Integrate HBOT
Into Your Facility?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a clinically established, non-invasive treatment modality that enhances patient outcomes and meaningfully expands hospital capabilities — delivering both clinical and operational value.
Improved Clinical Outcomes
Demonstrated efficacy in wound care, complex infection management, radiation tissue damage, and emergency interventions — improving recovery rates and patient safety.
Expanded Treatment Capabilities
Adds a high-value treatment modality to your facility, enabling management of specialised cases that would otherwise require referral — retaining patients and revenue.
Increased Patient Referrals
Positions your facility as a specialist referral destination for wound care centres, oncology units, ENT specialists, and emergency departments.
New Revenue Streams
HBOT generates sustainable clinical revenue through both acute and elective treatment pathways — contributing to hospital financial performance and departmental growth.
Complements Existing Services
Integrates naturally with surgical, oncology, wound care, rehabilitation, and emergency departments — enhancing the breadth and depth of your clinical offer.
Across Disciplines

Clinical Applications
HBOT addresses a wide spectrum of clinical conditions — from emergency trauma and infectious disease to chronic wound care and neurological rehabilitation.
Select Your Chamber Type
OPES ORION delivers a full range of hyperbaric systems tailored to hospital requirements — explore each configuration below.
Chamber — Image 2
Monoplace
Hyperbaric Chamber
A Monoplace chamber is designed to treat a single patient at a time. The entire chamber is pressurised with 100% medical-grade oxygen, allowing the patient to breathe oxygen directly from the chamber environment during treatment.
- Single-patient treatment system
- Compact footprint — ideal for smaller facilities
- Patient lies on a stretcher or reclining platform
- Acrylic viewing windows for continuous monitoring
- Controlled therapeutic environment
- Widely used in hospitals and hyperbaric clinics

Multiplace
Hyperbaric Chamber
A Multiplace chamber is designed to treat multiple patients simultaneously. The chamber is pressurised with medical-grade air while patients breathe 100% oxygen through masks or hood systems during treatment.
- Multiple-patient treatment system
- Higher throughput for hospital-scale operations
- Oxygen delivered via masks or hoods
- Medical attendants can accompany patients inside
- Large chamber interior — mobility for staff and equipment
- Cylindrical and rectangular configurations available

Modular Rectangular
Hyperbaric Chamber
The world's most advanced hyperbaric design. Passes effortlessly through standard 3-foot hospital doorways — eliminating the need for wall demolition, cranes, or heavy rigging. Expandable from 2 to 24 patients by adding modular sections.
- Fits through standard 3-foot hospital doorways
- Zero demolition — direct installation into existing clinics
- Expandable: 2 to 24 seats by adding modular blocks
- Fire-retardant memory foam seating with extra legroom
- Full wheelchair and ICU stretcher accessibility
- Rectangular profile maximises internal volume vs cylinders
| Dimension | Traditional Cylindrical | Modular Rectangular |
|---|---|---|
| Installation Logistics | Cranes, heavy rigging, wall demolition | Passes through standard 3-foot hospital doorways |
| Spatial Efficiency | Wasted curved space, awkward room placement | Maximised rectangular efficiency, flush to walls |
| Critical Care Access | Narrow, elevated round hatch | Floor-level rectangular door, full stretcher access |
| Patient Experience | Cramped, tube-like, shared environment | Private, room-like sanctuary with extra legroom |
| Scalability | Fixed capacity — requires buying a new unit to grow | Expandable from 2 to 24 seats by adding modular blocks |
